UNIT & TRANSMISSION
< style="font-family: verdana;">24V
DC drive motor with two stage speed reduction by Chain &
Sprockets, transmits power to drive wheels. The entire unit swivels
on heavy duty ball & roller bearings and is controlled by a
steering handle.
ELECTRICAL
SYSTEM
Two
sets of microswitches are provided for forward / reverse control.
Located on top of the steering handle and operated by ush buttons,
these microswitches acactuate the forward/reverse contractors. The
1st stage of traction is through a resistance, which is cut off in
the 2nd stage by a third contractor, actuated by pressing the push
buttons little further. For energising the hydraulic pump, a separate
contractor is provided which is actuated by the hydraulic control
lever, through a microswitch.
BATTERY
24v,
lead acid fraction battery, capacity 224 AH @ 5 hrs rate of distance
at 30ºC is provided.
TESTING
& HYDRAULIC SYSTEM
A
hydraulic pump is coupled with a 24V, DC motor which is actuated by a
microswitch attached with the hydraulic control lever through a
contractor. The lever operates a hydraulic fluid. The control valve
is provided with pressure felief valve, which protects the system
from overloading.
The
pressurised fluid is fed to the Lift Jack, which, in turn, raises the
fork carriage through a chain & pulley arrangement. A safety flow
control valve is provided at the base of the lift jack, which
prevents loads dropping at high speed, in the event of a hydraulic
pipe burst.
CONTROLS
The
steering control handle is spring loaded on as to return to vertical
position always. A mechanical brake arrangement is provided, which
becomes effective when the handle is either in vertical or horizontal
position.
Forward/Reverse
push buttons are provided on top of the handle. For Hurraulic
Controls, a self centering three position lever is provided for
lift/nertral/lower.
MAST
UNIT
A
twin telescopic welded channel mase-unit, comprising one Inner Mast,
with a welded steel fork carriage is used for lifting operation.
Forged guide rollers, mounted on ball bearing are provided for free
movement. Nylon adjustment thrust pads are also provided for
absorbing side thrusts.
FORKS
They
are manufactured in parts from forged alloy steel and can be adjusted
sideways on fork carriage and is provided with a locking device.
WHEELS
1.
No rubbrerised drive wheel and 2 no rubbrerised load wheels are
provided.
